KPMG grooming young Bahraini talents

Audit, Tax and Advisory firm, KPMG in Bahrain, announced continuing its’ commitment to supporting local talent as part of their Jassim Fakhro Professional Development Fund programme. KPMG said the most recent batch of its young Bahraini staff had completed their professional accreditation in their respective fields, and have become qualified chartered accountants, with support from the Fund programme.

The Jassim Fakhro Professional Development Fund programme was established in 2001 to honour Jassim Fakhro, the co-founder of KPMG in Bahrain and with the ambition to support the professional development of young talented Bahrainis. It provides financial support, coupled with coaching and mentoring from more experienced colleagues to help talented youth to pursue and successfully complete the professional qualifications of their choice.

To date, the Jassim Fakhro Professional Development Fund have an alumni database of over 170 Bahrainis. As part of the firm’s ongoing Jassim Fakhro Professional Development Fund program, KPMG in Bahrain has invested around USD$ 2 million in nurturing the future generation of Bahraini professionals.

Mustafa Mohamed, Audit Senior Executive at KPMG in Bahrain, a recent graduate, commented, “An investment in learning pays the best return.

KPMG in Bahrain continuously stands by this belief which is demonstrated by their support towards young Bahrainis pursuing their professional certification through the Jassim Fakhro Fund.”
