Huawei Consumer Business Group announced launching in Bahrain HUAWEI nova 8, the latest nova family member.
HUAWEI nova 8 packs a 64MP AI quad-camera, a 66W HUAWEI SuperCharge, a 90Hz curved OLED display in addition to Super Device and EMUI 12 features.
At both the front and rear, HUAWEI nova 8 uses a curved glass design, while retaining the physical buttons on the side.
The quad-camera consists of a 64MP HD Main Camera, 8MP Ultra-Wide angle Camera, 2MP Macro Camera and 2MP Bokeh Camera. The 64MP Main Camera uses a 4-in-1 light fusion technology, which Huawei said makes it easier to take pictures.
HUAWEI nova 8 also features a 120° Ultra Wide Angle Camera with an anti-distortion AI algorithm. Dual-view video helps vloggers record HD 1080p videos.
It also features a 32MP Highres Front Camera with Super Night Selfie 2.0 and a built-in AI algorithm to remove flares reflected from glasses.
The 66W HUAWEI SuperCharge allows charging to 60% in 15 minutes and 100% in 35 minutes.
The phone, which runs on EMUI 12, weighs 169 g.
The display supports a 90Hz refresh rate and 240Hz sampling. With 10-bit colour depth and up to 392 PPI, the display can render up to 1.07 billion colours.
Under Multi-screen Collaboration, the HUAWEI nova 8 can be connected with a PC.
Once connected, users can open up to 3 windows on the PC, and the PC can access mobile files, while the smartphone can function as the PC’s thumb device.
AppGallery is available on HUAWEI nova 8, where users can download a wide range of apps. Starting August 26, the HUAWEI nova 8 will be available for pre- order from the Huawei website for BHD 184.900.
