Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry organizes meetings with German delegation

The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the German-Saudi Arabian Liaison Office for Economic Affairs (GESALO) hosted on Thursday 30th September 2021 a German delegation comprising of 10 companies in the Petrochemical industry. Organizing the event came in a bid to liaise local business owners with their German counterparts, and encourage local businesses to expand their business network and explore opportunities.
Commencing the event, Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Chamber Dr. Abdulla Al Sada welcomed the delegation, expressing pride in the existing business between Bahrain and Germany, citing the non-oil trade volume which exceeded 550 million U.S dollars in 2020 despite the Coronavirus pandemic.
He voiced confidence in the upward trajectory of business between Bahrain and Germany, and encouraged business owners participating in the meeting to explore cooperation and partnership opportunities. He asserted the Chamber’s keenness in streamlining the expansion endeavor of local business owners, hence organizing this event, and reaffirmed the Chamber’s readiness to provide assistance to both local and foreign business owners and investors.
From her side, Delegate of the German Industry and Commerce for Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Yemen, who also headed the delegation, expressed pride in the collaboration between the Bahrain Chamber and GESALO, which serves the mutual goals of both sides in reinforcing business ties and stepping-up trade and investments.
She affirmed that promising opportunities exist in the Petrochemical industry, particularly for Small and Medium Enterprises that offer innovative solutions and specialized products and services.
