BisB backs AAOIFI’s Shari’ah Conference as golden sponsor

Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB), a leading provider of Sharia-compliant integrated financial solutions in Bahrain, recently announced its golden sponsorship of the Accounting and Auditing Organisation for the 19th annual conference of Islamic Financial Institution (AAOIFI).

The two-day virtual conference under the patronage of the Central Bank of Bahrain, which begins today, brings together Shari’a scholars, leaders, and experts across the Islamic finance industry.

The conference will host four discussions on the need and future of AAOIFI Shari’a standards of Shari’a and the process of developing, reviewing and amending its standards.

The discussions will also focus on merging Islamic banking funds with conventional banks, Sukuk Al Ijarah services, and Sukuk trading rules.
