Labour Minister honours LuLu’s Bahraini employees

Under the patronage of Jameel Al Humaidan, Minister of Labour and Social Development, the LuLu Group awarded Long Service certificates to its Bahraini workforce who had completed 10 years of service with LuLu Hypermarket.
The ceremony took place at the Dana Mall in the presence of the Minister, the Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Sameer Nass, the Assistant Undersecretary for Labour Affairs, Ahmed Al Haiky, the Chairman of the Dadabhai Group, Mohammed Dadabhai, Juzer Rupawala, Director of the LuLu Group and senior officials of LuLu.
Humaidan praised the Lulu Group, saying, “LuLu is an empowering workplace that has nurtured Bahraini success and contributed richly to the productivity and success of the Bahraini workforce”. He said that the Group’s track record in Bahrainisation was a major milestone in the retail sector.”
Speaking for LuLu Group, Juzer Rupawala thanked the Bahraini colleagues of LuLu who brought commitment and enormous people-friendly skills to their work and were the face of LuLu’s success.
“LuLu’s ability to tap the potential of Bahrainis is the result of the vision of our Chairman and Managing Director Yusuffali MA who always says that the Group’s growth is aligned to national goals and the local talent pool,” Rupawala said.

We are powered by their ability to represent the Lulu values of quality and customer service at every level, and we thank them for their commitment.” He thanked the Ministry of Labour for always supporting LuLu in its Bahrainisation vision with state-of-the-art HR and training resources.
