Bahrain Businesswomen’s Society to discuss agreements reached with UAE

Bahrain Businesswomen’s Society praised the official visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the United Arab Emirates and the agreements to reach economic integration between the two countries.
Ahlam Janahi, president of the society, said, “We appreciate the wise leadership’s efforts to advance investment and develop the national economy through important visits and agreements of leaders at the Gulf and Arab levels.
“We will discuss in the next board meeting how we can benefit from all the recent agreements signed by the wise leadership and will be transferred to the relevant committees.
Janahi affirmed the society’s keenness to follow up efforts to stimulate the national economy.
Deals signed during the visit include the declaration of the United Arab Emirates as a partner of the International SeaAir Freight Services Center in Bahrain, an MoU in trade and the exchange of investment opportunities and establishing a centre for the Emirati investor in Bahrain, allowing companies registered in the UAE to engage in commercial activities in Bahrain, facilitating and accelerating procedures for Emirati and Bahraini investors, permitting companies registered in the Emirates to carry out commercial activities in Bahrain, amongst others...
A memorandum of understanding was also signed for boosting cooperation and investment in industry and advanced technology.
The deal includes developing policies and strategies, exchanging experiences and best practices.
