Ahli United Bank gets two Elite Quality Recognition awards by JP Morgan

Ahli United Bank has been awarded two US Dollar clearing Elite Quality Recognition Awards by JP Morgan, which recognise clients achieving best-in-class straight-through processing (STP) rates for the calendar year 2021 based on JP Morgan’s internal data.

AUB was the only bank in Bahrain to be awarded two US Dollar Clearing Elite Quality Recognition Awards by JP Morgan in 2021 for the outstanding achievement of best-in-class MT202 STP Rate of 100% and MT103 STP Rate of 99.97%.

The awards were presented to Geoff Stecyk, AUB Deputy Group CEO, Technology & Operations, by Sherif Abdelsalam, JP Morgan Head of GCC & Turkey (FIG - Wholesale Payments). “We are very honoured to have received this great recognition from JP Morgan.

This clearly reflects our high-quality performance and achieving excellence in our funds transfer operations and management at AUB”, said Stecyk. “This is a great accomplishment and we are truly proud to recognise AUB achievements,” said Sherif Abdelsalam.

This recognition marks the latest addition to the recent accolades the Bank has been awarded from leading establishments, which include Bank of the Year – Bahrain 2021 by The Banker; Best Bank in Bahrain 2021 by Euromoney Magazine; Best Bank in Bahrain 2021 by Global Finance; Best Global Network Bank in GCC 2021 by Capital Finance International to name but a few.
