The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) announced its newest prize structure for the 21st edition of Al Watani Savings Scheme for the first half of the year 2022. Celebrating its 65th anniversary this year, the bank is offering more winners the opportunity to win grand prizes throughout 2022, commemorating the 65-year milestone with the number highlighted throughout this year’s prize structure.
NBB said it will be maximising the number of winners to cater for all retail segments. During the holy month of Ramadhan, which will take place in April of this year, the bank will award 100 winners with a total prize of USD $650,000.
Additionally, 10 lucky winners in June will get the chance to win a total prize of USD $650,000. NBB urges both new and existing Al Watani Savings customers to continue to deposit more into their accounts to increase their chances of winning the different prizes scheduled for this year.
Customers can increase their deposits using various depository machines available across the Kingdom and the NBB Digital mobile application. Subah Abdullatif Al Zayani, Chief Executive Retail Banking at NBB, said: “We are excited to announce this year’s prizes for Al Watani Savings Scheme as we hope to reward more of our customers with a range of cash prizes. As we look forward to NBB’s upcoming 65th anniversary, the Bank continues to reiterate its promise of being ‘Closer to You’ while spreading a culture of saving amongst our customers, enabling them to achieve personal goals.”

Customers will be rewarded for interest payments paid out on their savings in the Express Savers and SaveWave accounts while being able to utilise their savings accounts without restrictions, utilising them for day-to-day use and increasing their chances of winning.
