The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) announced the launch of three new professional qualifications for HR, learning and development professionals, awarded by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), the professional body for HR and people development.

The new qualifications are designed to arm HR professionals with the tools they need to solve the unique challenges they face in the workplace and help influence and shape their organisations for the better.

The CIPD’s new qualification structure has been streamlined to three distinct levels to suit professionals at different points in their career – Level 3 (Foundation level), Level 5 (Associate level), and Level 7 (Advanced level) – with the BIBF being the only local training provider of this prestigious level in the region. The completion of Level 7, which is equivalent to a postgraduate degree, can lead towards obtaining the Chartered Member (MCIPD) or Chartered Fellow (FCIPD) status.

Each of the three qualification levels provides a clear pathway for career progression and is aligned to CIPD membership grades. While studying, students become Student Members of the CIPD, and can then progress through membership levels with each qualification.

Acting Head of Leadership and Management Centre, Ms Sana Haji stated, "We are excited to launch the new CIPD qualifications which will equip HR practitioners with the skills and tools needed to thrive in the changing world of work. The streamlined qualifications will help us to achieve our vision of supporting professionals throughout their whole career, from student to a senior practitioner."
