YOU app to launch biggest multivertical platform in Bahrain

YOU app, a fastest growing last-mile company, announced launching the biggest multi-vertical delivery platform in Bahrain in March this year.

The app said it has successfully achieved a major milestone by carrying out the prelaunch app testing campaign, which will include 10,000 participants selected locally, starting in the last week of February 2022.

YOU app is an online human-centred platform that focuses on fulfilling the daily essentials of an individual.

The platform aims to tackle emotional, rational, social and free-will needs by creating convenience, reducing pain points and addressing mobility constraints.

The app will provide various multi-vertical offerings such as Food & Beverages, Health & Beauty, Fashion, Lifestyle, Grocery and Flowers.

With a capital of BHD 1.5 million and a team comprising of young and talented Bahraini professionals, the YOU app is owned by WeDeliver, a joint-stock company closed owned by Bahraini and GCC investors.

Dr Adel Hubail, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the YOU app, said, “With YOU app, we will be the first platform in the country to provide a catering feature which enables caterers to increase their exposure and boost their customer reach on our platform.”

YOU app Chief Operating Officer Noor Al Saati stated, “Our premium delivery fleet will incorporate Bahraini drivers and trained riders that can deliver to all areas of Bahrain safely and securely without compromising the freshness or quality of the orders.”

Al Saati also said they currently hold an 85% Bahrainization rating and “are working towards further growing this number shortly.”
