Bapco participates in the 2nd IAEE MENA Symposium & 5th Derasat Forum

Under the theme “The Impact of Energy Transition in the MENA Region”, Bapco participated in the 2nd IAEE MENA Symposium and 5th Derasat Forum, held between 2 – 3 March 2022 at The Art Hotel & Resort in Amwaj Islands.
Bapco’s participation at the event was key, given the Company’s prominent role in the region’s oil & gas industry.
Bapco was represented at the forum by GM Engineering - Mahmood Mirza, Trader from the International Sales Department - Shaikh Ebrahim Al Khalifa, Acting Manager Corporate Communications - Ahlam Mohamed, Environmental Specialist, BMP Health, Safety and Environment Department - Shaikh Khalifa Al Khalifa.
The forum addressed the challenges facing the region in the emerging energy transition.
As the demands for global energy are evolving due to the transition to greener sources, the nature of interactions between the region and the rest of the world should also be considered.
The Derasat forum shed light on these issues from the perspective of the policymakers, businesses and research community.
