The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority launched a tourist information office at Bahrain International Airport to guide tourists arriving in Bahrain and introduce them to tourist destinations, events, and entertainment activities.
Dr Nasser Qaedi, CEO of the Bahrain Tourism Authority, stated that opening this office came as a response to an increase in the number of tourists visiting the Kingdom and that a specialized and trained team of the authority’s staff will be available in this new office at Bahrain International Airport to assist tourists by answering their questions and inquiries and providing them with necessary guidance to enjoy their visit to the Kingdom.
“The new office will be the first gateway for tourists to enter Bahrain, and the authority will showcase the diversity of Bahrain’s tourism industry and provide the necessary publications and brochures in multiple languages,” said Dr Qaedi.
The tourist office will also provide tourists a list of tour guides and tour operators that they can contact to help facilitate their visit and book excursions. Mohamed Yousef Al Binfalah, CEO of Bahrain Airport Company, affirmed that this office is part of the airport’s overall work system.
