IDP participants gain insights into Bahrain history and culture

The Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies (MBMA) held its first day of activities for participants in the second edition of the International Diplomats Program (IDP).
The program combines academic and practical aspects in various political, economic, cultural, social and sports fields, highlighting the Kingdom’s status on the world map.
The first day of the program included a visit to the headquarters of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies where they were received by its Director General Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa Al Khalifa.
The Director General gave an introductory lecture on the role of the academy in diplomatic training. The participants later visited the academy’s facilities.
The international diplomats also visited Bahrain National Museum, the Bahrain National Theater, and the Arts Center.
The Acting Director of Studies and Evaluation at MBMA Mohammed Saleh Mohammed delivered a lecture to the diplomats related to the history of Bahrain.
The international diplomats were also briefed on the Kingdom’s experience in preparing the first Formula 1 race in the Middle East at the Bahrain International Circuit.
