Special day held for Ukrainian refugees

Gulf Aquamarine Hotel in Tbilisi, Gulf Hotels Group’s latest business venture, hosted a day special for Ukrainian refugees coinciding with national earth day where flowers had been planted, in the waterpark, reflecting the colours of Ukraine’s flag.
The event was a joint effort between the Ukrainian Embassy in Georgia and NGOs in Tbilisi for displaced families and children of the Ukraine. The event took place in the GINO Paradise Waterpark where children and their families enjoyed a full day program including dance competition, musical chairs and various water games.
Mr Garfield Jones, CEO Gulf Hotels Group, commented: “This is one of the Groups’ many CSR initiatives aimed at reaching out and giving back to the community we are in; here, we aim by such act of kindness to raise awareness towards this unfortunate situation the children found themselves in and foster their development and self-confidence.”
