Banagas and Tawseah hold board meetings

Bahrain National Gas Company (Banagas), and Bahrain National Gas Expansion Company (Tawseah) held their second Board Meetings, chaired by Mark Thomas, Group Chief Executive Officer of the Oil and Gas Holding Company (nogaholding), Chairman of Banagas and Tawseah, in the presence of the Board Members from both companies.

The boards approved the charters and committees’ policy and discussed the financial positioning, cost management, as well as the long-term strategic development plans of both companies. Regulatory matters pertaining to each company were also discussed and corroborated.

The meetings also shed light on the integrated whistleblowing policy recently launched under the directives of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of nogaholding.

The policy is designed to detect and prevent wrongdoings that may impair the group financially, operationally, or legally. Mark Thomas, GCEO of nogaholding, praised the continuous support of the Kingdom’s leadership and extended his sincere gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of nogaholding.

Banagas and Tawseah are subsidiaries of The Oil and Gas Holding Company (nogaholding) which owns a 75% stake in Banagas and 100% in Tawseah. nogaholding, the strategic investment and development arm of Bahrain plays a fundamental role in the execution of the strategic plans of the Kingdom in the Oil and Gas sector.
