Bahrain Bourse gets two top awards for sustainability, investor awareness

Bahrain Bourse, a self-regulated multi-asset marketplace, has been accorded with two prestigious awards for exemplary performance in the area of enhancing sustainability and investment awareness. Bahrain Bourse was named ‘Sustainable Stock Exchange of the Year - GCC 2022’ by Global Banking & Finance Review and ‘Best Investor Awareness Financial Literacy Initiatives’ – Stock Exchange – Bahrain 2022’ by International Finance.

Shaikh Khalifa bin Ebrahim Al-Khalifa, the Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Bourse commented: “As a signatory to the Sustainable Stock Exchanges (SSE) initiative, our aim is to increase awareness of the importance sustainability-related disclosures to enhance capital flow.”
