Social Media Awards 2022 held in Bahrain

Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons (YKA), the sole distributor of Nissan vehicles in Bahrain, recently partnered with the Social Media Awards 2022 presented by Saaya Events and Brand Box on September 9 at the Crowne Plaza Bahrain.

The one-of-its-kind event presented awards to digital content creators from social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. International celebrities including Indian Actor Ameesha Patel and Pakistani actor Imran Abbas along with social media stars from the Asian subcontinent and the Middle East were present. Anas Abdulla, General Manager, Nissan Bahrain said, “Nissan has integrated influencer marketing throughout its comms and marketing plan, and we have been collaborating with Bahraini social media influencers for years now.

By being a partner of this first-ever social media awards in Bahrain, I was not only inspired and motivated by the achievements of the local influencers but also felt a strong sense of pride to be associated with the objective of celebrating and honouring local talents. The Awards ceremony was thoroughly enjoyable and a well-organized event, and we look forward to being associated with events that always put our local talents on the map.” The local social media stars were judged by an eminent jury who selected the finalists and winners in several crucial categories including best Instagrammer and Best tiktoker.
