A rebranded hospital endowed with state-ofthe-art facilities and highly-qualified healthcare professionals now aims to provide holistic family care.
The Royal Hospital for Women and Children located in Riffa was rebranded as Al Malaki Specialist Hospital at a high-profile ceremony held at the Gulf Hotel Bahrain Convention and Spa.
The rebranded hospital now offers health and medical services to men of all ages and the added specialized departments include urology, orthopedics, general surgery and gastroenterology.
The rebranding ceremony was held under the patronage of Supreme Council for Health President Lieutenant General Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa.
It was attended by Capital Governor Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Health Ministry Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health Dr Mariam Al Hajeri and National Health Authority Health Institutions Regulation Department Head Dr Hessa Al Dosari apart from many other dignitaries.
Speaking to The Daily Tribune, Dr Mohamad Hamade, Chief Executive Officer of Amanat Holdings, said, Al Malaki Specialist Hospital has set many goals aimed at translating the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister by moving forward with further development and progress in the healthcare sector.
"All our efforts are directed towards supporting the Kingdom’s Economic Vision 2030, which aims to empower the medical tourism sector of Bahrain.”
Rohit Srivastava, Chief Executive Officer of Al Malaki Specialist Hospital, said the inspiration to rebrand the hospital came from the feedback and request from existing patients to provide treatment and healthcare facilities for their male family members as well.
“A new logo and name has been unveiled and this is a great beginning.”
“The Kingdom of Bahrain is my second home and during this transition period we have worked tirelessly to achieve the comprehensive vision of the hospital and to make Bahrain at the forefront of countries in the medical field, and our efforts have resulted in achieving unique results when it comes to providing the best of healthcare services.”
