Indian School Bahrain gears up for Mega Fair 2022

After a gap of three years, the Indian School Bahrain (ISB) is once again gearing up for the Mega Fair 2022.

The mega fair will be held on November 23, 24 and 25 at the Isa Town campus of the school.

An elaborate organising committee has been formed for this purpose.

The 501-member committee comprises parents, teachers, and social workers.

The organising committee, with business leader P Shanavas as general convener, and Mohammed Malim as patron, consists of the school executive committee representatives and community leaders from various walks of life.

Separate committees have been formed under the leadership of parents and teachers who will work together for the success of the fair.

Around 12,000 students from different countries are studying in the ISB.

The school fair is mainly organised to help the needy students by giving fee waivers.

ISB Hon. Chairman Prince S Natarajan and Hon. Secretary Saji Antony said that as a community school, the ISB believes that it is the responsibility of the school to help the needy students.

The school fair will be accompanied by a food festival and a science exhibition by students.

On the first day, the finale of the school youth festival Tarang will be held on the grounds.

The second day will feature South Indian music programmes led by Indian singer Mridula Warrier, and the concluding day will feature a musical led by Bollywood singer Bhumi Trivedi.

As part of the fair, the students’ art exhibition will be a new experience for the visitors.

General Convener P Shanavaz and Patron Mohammed Malim said that the mega fair is getting enthusiastic response from all sectors of the expatriate community.

After a gap of three years, the school is getting good response for stall booking in the fair.

The school will provide ample parking facilities for those who come to visit the fair.

The school football ground will have entertainment and related stalls while food stalls and other commercial stalls will be arranged at the basketball ground.

There will be various entertainment programmes for children.

The mega fair food stalls will offer an opportunity to experience the culinary diversity from different states of India.

The fair and its premises will be under CCTV surveillance.
