HRH Prince Salman restructures Bahrain Development Bank board

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Economic Development Board (EDB), yesterday issued Edict (2) of 2022, restructuring the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Development Bank.

According to the edict, the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Development Bank shall be chaired by Ghassan Ghaleb Abdulaal, and comprise the following members: Amna Ali Al Arrayed, Hani Hussain Redha, Aisha Mohammed Abdulmalik, Sandeep Bose, Yousif Mohammed Al Nefaie, Manal Shawqi Al Baayat and Marwa Khalid Al Saad.

The new board will serve for a three-year term, starting from the date of the issuance of this edict. The edict shall take immediate effect, and will be published in the Official Gazette. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister also issued Edict (63) of 2022, restructuring the Board of Directors of Eskan Bank, based on the proposal of the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, following the approval of the Cabinet.

According to the edict, the Board of Directors of Eskan Bank shall be chaired by Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, and comprise the following members: Mohammed Abdulrahman Bucheeri, Reem Abdulghaffar Al Alawi, Isa Abdulla Zainal, Nabil Saleh Abdulla’al, ajla Mohammed Al Shirawi, Mubarak Nabeel Mattar, Abdullatif Khalid Abdullatif and Balsam Ali Al Salman.

Members of the Board of Directors of Eskan Bank shall serve for a renewable three-year term. The Minister of Housing and Urban Planning shall implement the provisions of this edict, which take effect immediately and will be published in the Official Gazette.
