Doctors, specialists share new skin techniques at BDLA conference

The Bahrain Dermatology, laser, and Aesthetics (BDLA) kicked off its 5th conference and exhibition with the participation of professional dermatologists and doctors at the Crown Plaza hotel yesterday.
Over 35 local and international speakers, and delegates ranging from dermatologists, plastic surgeons, specialists, and consultants, both locally and regionally, are participating in the hybrid edition of the conference that continues until Saturday. Speaking at the conference, Dr Fathima Khamdan said, “Our job as dermatologists is to learn as much information to help the patient as best as we can.
The message I want to deliver is that life is not always easy, as what it is expected, but it is important to practice as much as we can to learn more in our field as dermatologists.” Dr Ahmed D. Shahda, a plastic surgeon and head of the organising committee at BDLA, said, “It is a pleasure that this event is happening for the fifth year, and this event is becoming more recognised as an international event.”
He added, “We are looking forward to our new event that will be taking place on September 23, 2023.” Another consultant Dermatologist, Dr Hussain Juma, Consultant Dermatologist, and head of Scientific committee-BDLA, said, “This conference presents doctors and specialists from Bahrain, GCC, and internationally to share new medical information about aesthetics and laser, and most importantly, it is good because the exhibition is open to everyone.” Participants shared new medical techniques at the conference and exhibition that was open to all.
