Registration open for ‘Digital Transformation’ program

Bahrain’s leading E-commerce platform (Homiez. me) and Bahrain Small and Medium Enterprises Society (SMEs) announced the opening of registration in the “Digital Transformation” program for 50 Bahraini productive families.

This free training program aims to educate members of these families on e-commerce field and train them on developing their enterprises using e-commerce to promote and sell their products online.

Productive families who meet the requirements can register in the program through “Homiez” account on Instagram @homiez. me up till December 31 and benefit from the numerous benefits it offers as the first program of its kind in Bahrain, including theoretical and practical training led by competent trainers, joining Homiez platform for free, promotional, marketing, technical support services, and more.

Dr Abdulhasan Al Dairi, Chairman of the Bahrain Development of Small and Medium Enterprises Society, stated that the “Digital Transformation” program for productive families is working on transforming home-based businesses into emerging SMEs that are able to create more job opportunities and contribute effectively to Bahrain’s GDP.

Dr Al Dairi expressed the society’s eagerness to support national efforts to foster productive families, ensure the sustainability of their enterprises, and promote their products locally and regionally, highlighting the role of the esteemed government to boost the productive families sector through the Ministry of Labour and Social Development.

Mr Sadeq Abdulrasool, Chief Digital Officer of (Homiez.me), said that the launch of such program came after analysing the needs of many productive families, and surveying their awareness of digital transformation and e-commerce domain, and then designing the proper structure of the program in line with the families’ needs.

Mr Abdulrasool explained that the “Digital Transformation” program for productive families also includes the launch of a special platform for showcasing the products of those families, so as to be a permanent showcasing for these products and engage them in local market, and to find the chance to endorse them in regional markets as well, in a way that contributes to improving the products and expanding their outreach.
