Buzizi gets top SKAL honour

President of SKAL Club Bahrain Mohammed Jasim Buzizi has been bestowed with the Merit of SKAL International “Member d’Honneur” in recognition of his efforts in keeping Bahrain on the world tourism and travel map.
SKAL is an international network of professional tourism & hospitality leaders. Buzizi assumed the Presidency from 1987 till 1997 and again from 2005 till the present.
He was elected as President of SKAL Asian Areas and served two terms of two years each (1993-1995 and 1999- 2001).
Buzizi was an active member to the Bahrain Club and played a lead role in having SKAL Bahrain host “SKAL Asian Area Congress” four times with the fifth coming in May 2024.
He started his career at the Gulf Hotel Bahrain in 1971 where he served several positions until 2000 when he became the Managing Director of Gulf Hotels Group.
Currently, he serves as a Board Member, Advisor to the Chairman & Business Development Consultant.
