Beyon honours Chairman’s award winners during Town Hall

Beyon, the parent company of Batelco and the Beyon digital companies, held its first Town Hall at the Company’s headquarters in Hamala, on 31st January in the presence of Beyon Chairman Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Beyon CEO Mikkel Vinter, executive management, and over 800 team members from all the Bahrain-based Beyon companies.

Held under the theme ‘Let’s Do Magic’, the highlight of the Town Hall was the reveal of the annual Chairman’s Award winners, with Shaikh Abdulla announcing the top 3 winners.

For 2022, 18 candidates were nominated from a pool of high-performing team members. The winners for 2022 are in 3rd place Anwaar Alsubaie - Talent Acquisitions & Culture Specialist, in 2nd place Essam Almutawa - IT Development Specialist, and the Chairman’s Award 1st place went to Ali Salman - Project Manager.

Beyon Chairman, Shaikh Abdulla, said: “I firmly believe that all candidates are considered winners and are a great example of the ambitious and promising Bahraini youth, and that a key component in a company’s formula for success is its people.”

At the end of the ceremony, the attendees enjoyed a show by Magical Bones, a magician and illusionist from the United Kingdom, who was a finalist on Britain’s Got Talent. Attendees got to socialize and enjoy a variety of food trucks and BBQ stations and live entertainment added to the exciting atmosphere.
