Bahrain, Hungary agree infrastructure, oil deals

Bahrain and Hungary yesterday signed agreements and memorandums of understanding in infrastructure and oil that would generate quality jobs for citizens and bolster economic integration.
The deal signing at the EDB headquarters in Bahrain Bay was in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Economic Development Board (EDB) and the President of Hungary, Katalin Novak.
His Royal Highness affirmed his commitment to strengthening cooperation and coordination with Hungary, highlighting the importance of further developing bilateral ties. Discussions also focused on boosting investment opportunities and areas of cooperation.
Novak then listened to a briefing on Bahrain's investment opportunities, business-friendly environment and development projects.
EDB also made a presentation on investment promotion strategies in various vital sectors and the services it provides to investors, as well as the efforts made by Bahrain in diversifying its economic base. Senior officials from both countries were present.
