BisB rewards Outstanding Achievements winners with up to BHD 10,000

Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) has announced the winners of its Outstanding Achievements Award, a competition launched last December to celebrate exceptional Bahrainis with cash prizes of up to BHD 10,000.
The winners of the competition were revealed to be Hameed Marhoon and Ayoob Asad, creators of “iHand”, a mobile application that connects people with disabilities to individuals who can help support and refine their talents.
The app was awarded a cash prize of BHD 5,000. Meanwhile, Rubik’s Cube champion Hasan Naseef was awarded BHD 5,000 for his skills in solving the popular puzzle.
The winners were selected after several rounds of evaluation conducted by judges comprising of: Afnan Saleh, Chief Human Resources Officer at BisB, Naeema Taheri, Chief Compliance Officer at BisB, Faisal Al Abdulla, Acting Head of Retail Banking at BisB, Jawad Humaidan, the Bank’s Chief Corporate & Institutional Banking Officer, and Shereen Bushehri, Managing Director of TRACCS.
The preliminaries resulted in the selection of 5 contestants. Yaser Alsharifi, CEO of BisB, expressed his pleasure at the success of the competition in identifying outstanding Bahraini talents in various fields.
He said, "We are pleased that this innovative competition coincided with the Kingdom's National Day celebrations and has successfully highlighted outstanding Bahraini talents who have been able leaders in their respective fields."
The initiative was announced on the Bank’s official website and social media channels, resulting in over 800 submissions in 30 days from applicants ages 5 to 66 across a wide range of categories, including sports, business concepts, education, health, filmmaking, programming, and virtual reality.
