Real estate sector key to boosting tourism, says Tourism Minister

Tourism Minister, Fatima bint Jaafar Al-Sairafi, has highlighted the importance of real estate projects in boosting the country’s tourism industry.

The minister emphasized that these projects offer various options, including housing, investment, and residence choices for everyone, including tourists and visitors.

Additionally, the facilities provided by these projects enrich the experience of tourists and offer a variety of entertainment options.

During a meeting with the CEO of Naseej real estate company, Amin Ahmed Al-Arrayed, the minister discussed opportunities for joint cooperation and initiatives to further enhance the company’s contribution to Bahrain’s tourism sector.

She also reiterated the support of the Ministry of Tourism and the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) for various partners as part of their efforts to achieve the ambitious goals of the tourism strategy 2022-2026.

Al-Arrayed expressed Naseej Company’s interest in exploring new opportunities with the government sector and briefed the minister on the company’s most significant projects, including the Canal View project on the island of Dilmunia.

The project is expected to become a unique tourist destination in the Kingdom in the next few years, contributing to the growth of Bahrain’s tourism sector in line with the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 and the Tourism Strategy 2022-2026.
