AUB AGM approves 10% in cash dividends totalling US$278.7 m

Ahli United Bank’s Annual General Meeting yesterday approved recommendation to distribute cash dividends for 2022 at 10% of par value (US 2.5 cents per ordinary share), totalling US$278.7 million in cash, as well as the transfer of US$54.6 m to statutory reserves.
The meeting presided over by outgoing Deputy Chairman, Mohammad Fouad Al-Ghanim approved the reappointment of Ernst & Young as the auditors for 2023 and the appointment of new board of directors.
New members include Hamad Abdul Mohsen Al Marzouq as chairman, Adel A. El-Labban and Khalid Mohamad Najibi as deputy chairmen.
Other members are Khalid Salem Al-Nisf, Muad Saud Al-Osaimi, Haitham Abdulaziz Al-Terkait, Khaled Yousef Al-Shamlan, Dr Anwar Al-Mudhaf, and Jamal Abdelrazzaq Al-Naif.
Al Marzouq stressed commitment to delivering consistent returns, together with its focussed and multi-faceted endeavours in terms of digitalisation, data analytics, and human capital transformation.
