The concept of grilling has existed for thousands of centuries. It is one of the most ancient methods of cooking food. Grilling is cooking meat by direct and dry heat, such as under a grill or over a fire.

While our ancestors used wood and fire to grill, we now use charcoal or gas grilling equipment.

Grilling gives the meat a beautiful caramelised exterior and juicy interior. This method of cooking also provides the slight char that we all love.

Mixed grills are a great way of enjoying succulent meat and seafood. Due to the utilisation of less oil/butter during the cooking process, grilling is often regarded as a healthy way of cooking, thus making it a preferred option for the health-conscious.

Marinating helps to provide a mound of flavour to meat, while some meat does not need prior marinating. Sometimes, simple seasoning just before grilling offers excellent taste. Fish and vegetables can also be grilled without prior prepping.
