$10 million EPIX Cinema opens doors in Dana Mall

EPIX CINEMA, a new $10 million multiplex in Dana Mall, opened its doors yesterday, boasting a range of first-of-its-kind features for cinema-goers in Bahrain.

With ten screens and 1,125 seats, the cinema offers laser projection, Dolby Atmos 3D surround sound, luxurious seating options, multi-cuisine food and beverage offerings.

The facility, housed inside Lulu Group’s Dana Mall, has Mukta A2 Cinemas as its management and operations partner.

The opening ceremony, held under the patronage of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure, Shaikh Khalid Bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, was in the presence of LuLu Group Chairman and Managing Director Yusuff Ali MA, Dadabai Holding Chairman, Abbas Dadabai and Managing Directors Qutub Dadabai and Hatim Dadabai.

Describing the facility as a “stylish” addition to the leisure and entertainment industry, Yusuf Ali emphasised the importance of the entertainment sector as a valuable component of Bahrain’s growing tourism industry.

The LuLu Group Chairman also stated that the state-of-theart cinema located in Dana Mall completes their offerings to the public and positions them as a comprehensive destination for family retail and leisure activities.

Besides showing the latest releases in all languages, the cinema offers a variety of luxurious seating options and delicious multi-cuisine food and beverage offerings.

The facility also features Epix Kinder, a playful movie experience for children, and Epix VIP, which provides a new level of cinema luxury.

Epix XL offers a balcony experience with comfortable seating options on the lower and upper levels, as well as laser projection, Dolby Atmos, and a large screen for a fully immersive movie experience.

Hatim Dadabai, Managing Director of Dadabai Holding, thanked the government, EDB, and LuLu Group for their support.

Dadabai Holding also announced that they would soon launch a first-of-its-kind, stateof-the-art e-sports gaming hub to provide the best gaming experience for the fast-growing  Hall e-gaming sector.
