New Mazda CX-60 SUV debuts in Bahrain

International Motor Trading Agency (IMTA), a subsidiary of KE Kanoo Group and the sole authorized dealer of MAZDA cars in Bahrain, has announced the launch of its new SUV, the Mazda CX-60.

The CX-60 (GCC specification model) is equipped with a Skyactiv G PYUL engine, Mazda’s upgraded longitudinal engine system featuring a 2.5 litre in-line four-cylinder gasoline engine with 8-speed automatic transmission to give the driver a Jinbai-Ittai feeling.

The car boasts a full panoramic sunroof for a scenic view of the Bahrain skies.

The i-ACTIV AWD with rear-wheel-drive layout promises greater grip and control, while the MI-Drive feature enables smooth journey over various terrains with driving mode selections such as Normal, Sports, Off-Road and Hill Descent Control.

The SUV also features handsfree power lift gate, a widescreen 12” inch infotainment display screen.

Double wishbone front suspension & rear multilink suspension enables a smooth drive. Vehicle dynamics have been improved tremendously ensuring increased rigidity.

Its enhanced 360-degree view monitors ensure fewer blind spots.

International Motor Trading Agency President Suzan Salman Kanoo said, “The CX-60 is a two-row, mid-sized SUV that allows the driver to enjoy not only everyday driving but also long-distance drives on the expressway.

Furthermore, the team at Mazda took on the challenge of taking Kodo-Soul of motion design to new heights, expressing toughness and sophistication in its form utilizing Japanese sense of design that values harmony with nature.”

Adding to the President's comments, International Motor Trading Agency Vice President K N Singh said, “With this model, Mazda creates a new line-up in the SUV segment.

In the future, a mild hybrid variant will be introduced in Bahrain but for now, the IMTA team is happy to help customers with all their queries about the newly launched vehicle”.
