Tatweer opens tender for Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for nodes

Tatweer Petroleum has introduced a tender to purchase Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes, aiming to specifically tackle threats at the operator level within IACS environments.
Interested parties should bid for the project before the 11th of July 2023 with a BD500 bond valid for 180 days.
With this service, Tatweer aims at safeguarding SCADA servers, HMIs, and engineering workstations against a range of cyber threats originating from human factors, generic malware, targeted attacks, or sabotage.
One notable advantage of KICS for Nodes is its versatility, as it can be easily installed on any Microsoft Windows Desktop, Server, or embedded operating system, spanning from XP SP2 to the latest versions, the tender reads.
According to Kaspersky, their Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes is a complex server and workstation security solution for IT threats in industrial control systems. Since July 2016, Tatweer Petroleum has been under full ownership of nogaholding, the business and investment division of NOGA in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Tatweer Petroleum now assumes responsibility for all upstream operations in the Kingdom, including oil and gas exploration, development, production activities, as well as gas distribution and sales. nogaholding serves as the oil and gas investment and development arm of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
