He was seen at various hospitals in Bahrain and was advised conservative management due to the patient's abnormally placed right kidney in the pelvis and a renal pelvic stone measuring 1.8 cm.

The renal pelvic stone was removed with a pyelolithotomy Surgery through a small incision. The surgery was performed by Dr. Monish Cherian, with the surgery lasting only 30 minutes and the patient being discharged after 60 hours.

Renal Ectopia with stones is rare, and as the stone is located in abnormally located kidneys, it poses a challenge to the urologist. This is the first reported case of an ectopic kidney with a stone treated successfully in Bahrain at the King Hamad American Mission Hospital.
