Following the launch of the first-ever Cybersecurity Club (CSC) for students in Bahrain initiated by the University of Technology Bahrain (UTB), the club officers headed by Hamad Alnakal, the CSC Founder and President and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science student at UTB, spearheaded the first workshop with student members coming from the different universities in the country.

The workshop is apropos of the College of Computer Studies’ intent of honing skills to produce safe and sustainable solutions to cyber risks.

The move falls in line with the university’s goal of creating learning experience that promotes the culture of cross disciplinary collaboration, innovation, expansion of knowledge, and the development of 21st century skills among students considering diverse contexts – both efforts in support of the country’s vision of establishing a secure cyberspace to safeguard national interests. Club membership is still open through their Instagram account csc_utb.
