The College of Law at Applied Sciences University (ASU) announced offering a law programme in collaboration with London South Bank University (LSBU), providing students with thorough knowledge and skills that reflect the Kingdom of Bahrain and British legal systems.

Dr. Yaser Khalaileh, the Dean of the College of Law at ASU, affirmed that the University’s key objective in offering the (LLB) bachelor’s programme in partnership with LSBU is to enhance the diversity of specialisations in the job market, in line with the University’s continuous efforts towards internationalisation through cooperation with prestigious and globally recognised universities

Dr. Khalaileh underlined that the College of Law allows its students the opportunity to earn a dual award by receiving two bachelor’s degrees upon graduation, one from LSBU and another from ASU.

The University is, therefore, committed to expanding students’ knowledge bases in all law specialisations and enhancing their learning abilities by employing the most up-to-date educational tools. He stressed: "Our links with the industry continuously inspire our graduates to be global citizens and contribute to overcoming the challenges facing society.

In education, we are committed to social mobility, and we are proud of the work we have done so far to create an inclusive and diverse learning environment with a broad outlook via our internship programme and Law Clinic". Dr. Khalaileh emphasised that the partnership with LSBU to offer this distinguished law programme is a result of the College’s aim to provide high-quality educational output for its students.

The programme incorporates state-of-the-art educational and training strategies to serve the educational purpose, enhance the acquisition of necessary skills for Bahraini and British law education, and reinforce students’ academic conception, making the learning process more comprehensive and beneficial for job opportunities after graduation.

He nevertheless highlighted that the College offers programmes at both the bachelor’s and master’s levels, and the registration doors are open for the programmes for the first semester of the academic year 2023-2024.
