Nissan Bahrain welcomes first female Bahraini intern as car technician

Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons, sole distributor of Nissan Vehicles in Bahrain, has announced the arrival of their first female Bahraini intern, Asma Mohammed Ashfaq, who will be working as a car technician at Nissan Service Centre, Sitra.

Asma’s two-month internship will allow her to further her knowledge of diagnostics and automotive experience. Until recently, this job was traditionally perceived as suitable only for men.

However, times are changing, and Asma’s joining is breaking the gender barrier. "We are thrilled to welcome Asma to our team and to be part of her journey in the automotive industry," said Abraham John, Service Head of Nissan Bahrain.

Asma’s internship will provide her with hands-on experience in the field of automotive technology and diagnostics. A team of experienced technicians will work closely with Asma to ensure that she gains the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the industry.
