Top priority for nurturing national Industry: Bahrain Chamber’s Najibi

Khalid Mohammed Najibi, the First Deputy Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, has reiterated Chamber’s commitment to prioritising the development of a robust and sustainable national industry.

He highlighted that this commitment aligns with the Government’s economic recovery plan and the objectives set forth in Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030. In this regard, the First Deputy Chairman also underscored the potential of Bahrain’s industrial sector in driving economic growth, generating job opportunities, and raising export volumes, all of which contribute to improving the quality of life for citizens.

Speaking during a meeting of the Joint Economic Committee held at the Chamber’s headquarters, Najibi emphasised the pivotal role of ensuring food security. This goal, he stated, is a core element of the Chamber’s agenda for its 30th term. He also brought the attention to the Chamber’s commitment to enhancing food security through various strategic avenues.

"These include bolstering food industries, refining agricultural policies, and optimising supply chains." Najibi further stressed the importance of sustained collaboration and synergy between the public and private sectors to meet the ongoing needs of the local market and confront future circumstances and challenges.
