British School of Bahrain welcomes back students

The British School of Bahrain (BSB) welcomed students back to school on August 31, 2023, with a sense of excitment and anticipation.

The school said it has had a busy summer, investing in new facilities and programs, and the staff have been undergoing professional development to ensure that they are ready to provide the best possible education for their students.

"The school is buzzing with children and it's so nice to see and hear the corridors full of laughter and excitement as they rejoin the school," said Mr. John Maguire, Executive Headmaster of BSB.

"It's going to be a fantastic year and I think it will rival our best ever year last year where we were the best again for A level and GCSE results, but also some fantastic events already planned for this year. So I'm looking forward to the year and welcoming everyone back."

Parents were also excited about the new school year. "Actually as a family, we chose BSB to be the school for my daughter because of the word of mouth, all my friends and all my colleagues," said one parent.

"They said that the level of education is perfect and the kids are making good friends in the school, the teachers are friendly and the culture of the school is very healthy. That's why we choose based on the reputation and Lord of mouth of our colleagues. 

Another parent said, "We chose BSB because of its high quality education. We heard from other parents as well. That is a good atmosphere for my daughter to grow up and to have good friends, to have a multicultural experience as well. And she's super excited."
