Applied Science University (ASU) in Bahrain is offering two validated programmes by London South Bank University (LSBU) in the built environment: Architectural Engineering and Civil Engineering.

The dual-award degree provides students with the opportunity to acquire academic qualifications from both ASU and London South Bank University (LSBU), with enhanced technical skills and increased opportunities in the labour market after graduation.

The Architectural Engineering programme at ASU covers a wide range of topics, including building design, structural engineering, construction management, and environmental design.

The Civil Engineering programme focuses on the design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, and water systems.

Both programmes are accredited by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).

Participating students are eligible to be CIOB student members providing them with extensive resources and venues for research work, webinars, and other valuable resources.

Students are also offered internships and placements opportunities in the largest construction projects in the Kingdom, such as Avenues Mall Expansion, Sitra Oil Refinery Expansion, and Al Fateh Avenue Jufair junction.

In addition, there is an annual opportunity for students to visit London and spend time at LSBU through the Summer School programme, among other opportunities.
