Bahrain Airport Services honours 139 employees at long service awards

Bahrain Airport Services (BAS) hosted its annual Long Service Awards Ceremony to honor around 139 staff members who have completed 10,15,20 and 30 years of service to the company.
The event was held on the 6th of September at Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain, under the patronage of Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, Minister of Labour and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA).
The event witnessed the attendance of Nabeel Khalid Kanoo, Chairman of BAS, in addition to Board members, executive management and the management team.
The minister stressed the importance of such events in motivating employees to achieve more and enhance levels of productivity and development.
Humaidan also praised the company for its high Bahrainisation rate, which exceeded 81%. Nabeel Khalid Kanoo, the Chairman of BAS said: “We are proud of our high retention rate that reflects our efforts to reduce staff turnover, as we provide our team members with a positive working environment that values and motivates them to go above and beyond.”
