Al Hilal Healthcare Group holds prayer meeting for five deceased employees

Tragedy struck Al Hilal Healthcare Group as they lost five of their enthusiastic young employees in a car accident on Friday, September 1.

The employees, Mahesh VP, Gaither George, Jagath Vasudevan, Akhil Raghu, and Suman Mokinapalli, were returning from the ‘Onam Celebration 2023’ hosted by the group when the accident occurred.

Group officials said the loss of these individuals has left a void that can never be filled.

As a way to pay their respects, Al Hilal Healthcare Group organised a prayer meeting on Friday, September 8, at Al Hilal Hospital Muharraq Parking.

The prayer was attended by over 500 participants, all dressed in white to show solace for the departed employees.

Dignitaries, management, and employees of the group were present, and the Managing Directors of Al Hilal Healthcare Group shared virtual messages of condolences.

Dr. P A Mohammed, the Managing Director, expressed his deepest condolences and assured that the group would provide financial aid to the families of the deceased.

Mr. Abdul Latheef Uppala, Managing Director, expressed his shock and pledged to claim insurance amounts for the affected families.

Mr. V T Vinod, another Managing Director, also conveyed his condolences and promised full support from Al Hilal Management.

Dr. Sharath Chandran, the CEO of Al Hilal Healthcare Group, reminisced about the departed souls, emphasising that they were not just employees but friends and family.

He mentioned their beautiful smiles, which will be remembered forever.
