Mohammed Ali Al Qaed, Chief Executive of the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) and Chairman of the Government Service Centre Evaluation Committee (Taqyeem), underscored the significance of bolstering the competitiveness and sustainability of government services in line with the development initiatives led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Al Qaed made these remarks while presiding over a roundtable meeting that gathered heads of service centre development from various government entities, along with Committee Deputy Chairman Dr. Ra’ed Mohammed BenShams, other committee members, and the central and administrative evaluation team.

During the meeting, Al Qaed detailed the preparations undertaken by the Taqyeem Committee, in collaboration with government entities, for the launch of the 4th round of evaluations.

He introduced the new Government Service Centres Evaluation Guide, which was developed based on insights derived from workshops and in-depth discussions.

This guide sets standards for remote government services, eliminating the need for in-person visits and is expected to enhance the efficiency of government centres and the quality of services provided to the public.

Al Qaed also discussed the evaluation frameworks applied to both in-person and remote customer service centres.

These frameworks include various evaluation methods, such as visits by mystery shoppers aimed at ensuring a high-quality customer experience, as well as scheduled field visits.

Dr. BenShams emphasised that the evaluation's ultimate goal is to elevate overall customer satisfaction with government services.
