Bhavans-Bahrain Indian School celebrates Gandhi Jayanti

In accordance with the significance of Gandhi Jayanti, Bhavans-Bahrain Indian School celebrated the day with a number of activities with the goal to encourage students to follow the path of truth and non-violence.
History was relived and biography of Mahatma Gandhi was reiterated as students were engaged in various activities like crafting the famous ‘Three Wise monkeys” figurines, writing famous quotes on Mahatma Gandhi, narrating stories about his life along with conducting quiz on his life and lessons as taught by him.
Students of Grade VI presented a special assembly which was a value addition.
Students sang the famous bhajan- ‘Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram’ and showcased a skit on three principles as guided by him for a peaceful living.
Kindergarteners presented a special assembly wherein the students sang a medley based on Gandhiji’s famous songs.
The students were shown a presentation on the motivational quotes as propagated by Gandhiji followed by a skit performance on Swach Bharat Abhiyan (Clean Indian Campaign).
The activities yielded great learning for the students and added to their knowledge base.
Directors Himanshu Verma and Ritu Verma and Principal Saji Jacob applauded and appreciated the efforts of the students and guided the students to follow the principles of Gandhiji for a successful life ahead.
