An enriching trip to APM Terminals for NMS students

The students of grade XI & XII in the Commerce and Humanities stream from New Millennium School in Bahrain had the opportunity to visit the Khalifa Bin Salman Port (KBSP) on September 24th, 2023.

This educational trip was organized as part of their curriculum. Accompanied by their teachers, the students gained firsthand knowledge about various aspects of port operations such as cargo handling, crane operations, ship processes, and safety precautions.

The experience of witnessing the dynamic loading and unloading of diverse cargo was a thrilling highlight of their visit.

An interactive question and answer session with port professionals further deepened their understanding of port operations.

The school expressed sincere gratitude to APM Terminals, the operators of KBSP, for providing the students with an exceptional and unique learning experience during their visit.

The students were truly grateful for this extraordinary opportunity which enriched their academic journey and left a lasting impression on their minds.
