ASRY launches new ERP System

The Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Company (ASRY), the leading ship and rig repair yard in the Arabian Gulf, has announced the launch of its new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system at an official ceremony held at the company headquarters in Hidd.

During the ceremony, ASRY Managing Director, Mazen Matar praised the tireless efforts of the team, who have effectively contributed to the success of the project.

The project, which initially began in March of 2021, has successfully implemented the state-of-the-art Infor ERP system - Infor Cloud Suite Industrial Enterprise - into the company’s procedures.

This enabled digital integration between all departments and divisions within the company, raising productivity and ensuring best practices at the industrial level.

ASRY’s Managing Director commented: “This project represents a turning point in ASRY’s history.

A pivotal step in ASRY’s efforts to achieve a more sustainable future ignited by the latest digital cloud system that will facilitate and automate operations.”

Sahar Ataei, the Deputy CEO and the Head of ASRY Digital Transformation Project remarked “Ultimately, this will strengthen ASRY’s position as a distinguished global edifice that plays a prominent role in growing the national economy and the maritime sector in the region.”
