Zain Bahrain celebrates sign languages day with Bahrain Deaf Society

Zain Bahrain celebrated International Day of Sign Language with Bahrain Deaf Society, by hosting an event for Bahrain Deaf Society members and children, and Zain employees’ children.
The event included a Bahraini Sign Language basics workshop for children by a professional Sign Language interpreter and viewing of “Nothing like Zain” Play with Sign Language interpretation, along with a range of entertaining activities tailored for children, encouraging bonding, understanding, and awareness among all attendees.
A team of Zain employees who are trained in Sign Language were invited to ensure effective communication and engagement, making it possible for all attendees to participate in the event activities.
Fatema Haider, Manager of Sustainability, and Inclusivity at Zain Bahrain, expressed her enthusiasm for this collaboration, stating “Zain Bahrain is very proud to continue its partnership with Bahrain Deaf Society, marking Zain’s ongoing commitment in promoting inclusivity and diversity within the local community.”
