Bahrain, Saudi trade volume rose 15% in 2022: Nass

Sameer Nass, the Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, expressed optimism over the 15% surge in trade volume between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia in 2022, reaching approximately $4 billion.
He noted that this growth underscores the robust trade ties and close collaboration between these two fraternal nations.
These remarks were made during a meeting held at the Chamber's headquarters on Monday, where a delegation from Alsharqiya Chamber, led by its Chairman Badr Mohammed Al-Ruzaizah, was in attendance.
Nass commended the long - standing relationship between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, emphasising their cooperation and integration across diverse sectors.
He also stressed the importance of increasing joint investments and broadening the horizons for investments in the commercial, industrial, and productive sectors.
Al-Ruzaizah, in turn, highlighted the significance of bilateral meetings between chambers of commerce, deeming them crucial for overcoming challenges and enhancing trade exchanges.
He called for enhanced collaboration with chambers of commerce and joint committees to fortify cooperation in all domains.
Khalid Najibi , the First Vice-Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, affirmed the Chamber's commitment to strengthening economic relations with Saudi Arabian chambers of commerce.
He also underscored the remarkable role of the Bahraini- Saudi Council, rooted in Saudi Arabia's unique status and exemplary relationship with Bahrain.
The meeting also delved into the stages of the Chamber's history, its revamped operations, and its economic and social initiatives.
