Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,947.74 points marking an increase of 2.04 points above the previous closing.
This increase was due to the rise in the financial sector, industrial sector and material sector. Bahrain lslamic Index closed at 746.97 points, marking a decrease of 0.18 points below the previous closing.
Results indicated that 56 equity transactions took place with a volume of 851,056 worth BD 221,470.
Investors traded mainly in the financial sector representing 72.78 % of the total value of securities traded.
