The Bahrain Chamber, Export Bahrain launch seminars to mark Exports Week

The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with Export Bahrain, organized a series of seminars aimed at raising awareness on export laws and regulations, licensing, requirements, and cargo and logistics services pertaining to the food and beverages sector.
Speaking at the seminars, Chairman of the Food Sector Committee of the Bahrain Chamber Khaled Ali Al-Ameen, emphasized the vitality of the food sector and its contribution to national food security efforts.
He also called on food manufactures, SMEs, and startups to upscale their businesses and venture in foreign markets. Executive Director of Operations at Export Bahrain Fatima Rustom, expressed her delight at the tremendous response witnessed during the “Exports Week” sessions. She reinstated Export Bahrain’s commitment to supporting existing institutions in Bahrain by providing them with the essential information and expertise needed to strengthen their export initiatives.
The seminar series, which lasted for three days, hosted esteemed speakers from various government and private entities who discussed the guidelines of government regulations related to the food and beverage sector, procedures for importing food from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and shipping and logistics services for food and beverages.
