Canadian School Bahrain (CSB) has achieved prestigious recognition for its stellar implementation of the British Columbia (B.C.) curriculum, marking four consecutive years of excellence.
Ms. Wendy Hyer and Mr. Piet Langstraat, contractors representing the B.C. Ministry of Education, led a comprehensive inspection, emphasising curriculum delivery, teacher planning, and technology integration at CSB.
Wendy Hyer, with over 30 years of experience, and Piet Langstraat, renowned for his versatile leadership, spearheaded the inspection. Langstraat praised CSB’s cohesive team, high academic standards, and student-centred approach, affirming CSB’s surpassing of rigorous B.C. Ministry of Education standards.
The seamless integration of the B.C. and Bahraini curricula impressed the inspectors. Langstraat highlighted CSB’s teaching excellence, emphasising engaged students in technologically advanced environments.
The Arabic team’s integration of B.C. competency into the Arabic curriculum was noteworthy, he noted. The considerable investment by CSB’s founder, Mr. Abdulghaffar Al Kooheji, in campus infrastructure, skilled coordinators, head teachers, and a dedicated Academic Principal demonstrated a commitment to building a solid foundation for future educational success, school officials stated.
Further, they said the recognition, now four years running, underscores the school’s unwavering commitment to high educational standards and successful B.C. curriculum implementation. This achievement reflects CSB’s dedication to nurturing future leaders, they added.
